Preview: Three Ways To Teach A Horse To Turn Around!

In this three part series, Wayne demonstrates three ways you can teach a horse to turn around. All of which we use throughout the training of a cutting horse. He also shows you how to give clear instructions to help avoid confusion and anxiety for your horse.

Part one of this video series shows you the three ways you can teach your horse to turn around. Wayne explains exactly where each foot has to be and he states that all three of these turns are needed for a cutting horse.
Part 2
Horses become confused, anxious and clumsy because they don't know what you are asking. Wayne demonstrates how to give clear instructions so your horse knows what you are asking.
Part 3
Wayne works the flag and explains why he keeps the flag in front of the horse to help him learn and turn. He also gives a great demonstration on why the hip has to move through the middle of the turn to help the horse be more efficient.
