Part 1
The story of SDP Buffalo Ranch as it grew from a family company to an international breeding enterprise owned and operated by Shane Plummer. He talks about why he chose cutting over the thoroughbred industry and what it taught him.

He explains the difference between inbreeding and line-breeding and what to consider when breeding for certain traits. He describes the difference between breeders in horse racing versus cutting and what cutters can learn from the thoroughbred industry to make more educated, less emotional and costly breeding decisions.
