Preview: How To Fix A Common Show Horse Problem With Jesse Lennox

A common problem with show horses is that they learn to get away from the cow to much or get too flat! Jesse gives you a great exercise to fix that! He demonstrates how to approach the flag when beginning your work and that the key to this exercise is to incorporate your herd side foot along with your hands when circling. Jesse also explains why this exercise should never be done if your horse has a tendency to push up the pen when showing.

How I got started: I started at 10 cleaning stalls. At 14, I was breaking colts for five bucks a ride. In the summers, I went to Gerry Hansma’s, loping and riding two year olds. After high school I worked for him full time.
