In this great three part series, Travis will show you how to teach a horse to rate the cow with your hand down. He thinks more about the horse’s front end being light and responsive with the cow. Travis doesn’t want to get too caught up in mechanics because it can bind a horse up too much. He is more concerned about forward motion and the horse thinking ‘cow’.

Travis has spent the last decade training under some of the best in our business including Todd Bergen, Grant Setnicka and Beau Galyean. When he was in high school, the Snaffle Bit futurity was held in his hometown,  he and his dad would go watch. Travis was in awe of the great horsemanship. Ever since, he has been on a journey to become a horseman of similar caliber. Travis just had a very successful NCHA Futurity selling two year olds and he now starts two year olds for the public out of Grandview TX.
