2018 Futurity Champion Tatum Rice shows you how he works his Futurity horses between pre-works. He explains the importance of taking the pressure off them at times, by slowing down to build their confidence. He shows you how to help a horse get soft in the stops and how to get your horse to look in towards the cow, with both eyes, once stopped.

Tatum works a Futurity horse that has been difficult to get broke on a cow and he explains how he was able to overcome this hurdle. He gives you a great exercise you can do to help a horse soften in the stop and he explains how to get a horse to look in towards the cow once stopped.

Tatum re-works this filly, hoping to slow her down and taking the pressure off by driving off. He shares with you a great piece of advice Matt Gaines told him about preparing and showing futurity horses. And he shows you how to teach a horse to handle the pressure of making more aggressive and clean cuts.
