Matt Gaines works a range of horses 3, 4 and 6 year old horses on cattle where his emphasis is on position and consistency. No matter how good or bad the cattle are, no matter how good or bad the horse is, Matt shows you how position can still be attained.

Part 1
Matt trains a 6 year old on cows just days before the Super Stakes. He focuses on slowing the horse down to get in position. You'll also see a 3 year old Matt is preparing for the small Futurities.
Part 2
In part two, Matt works a 4 year old amateur horse again emphasizing the importance of position. He also works a 3 year old gelding and how he tried to challenge it mentally.
Part 3
Two more 3 year olds are worked on cattle. Matt explains how focusing on position while training helps sharpen your showing. He also reminds you to not make a big deal out of a young horse's mistakes.
