Part 1
Lindy discusses the importance of your cuts and how judging begins as you enter the herd, not as you drop your hand. Our cuts are one of the view variables we can control and Lindy likes to try to perfect them to get credit earning points.
Part 2
Lindy demonstrates how and why she enters the herd according to how they may be sitting on the back fence. She shows you how to push on your cow to help drive it up the pen and gain control.
Part 3
What not to do! Lindy shows you what happens when you don't step forward and make your cut. She gets her horse too flat and waits on her help to cut the cows, which allows cows to turn toward her and gives the cow the advantage.
Part 4
In Part 4 Lindy talks about why she may enter the herd from the center, rather than the side, to create a flow and more options to choose from for cattle. She also preaches not to let the cow turn in towards you as you make your cut.
Part 5
Here, Lindy demonstrates what happens when you don't drive up and you look at your cows hip rather than the cows eye when making your cut. Again, she says you can't stop a cow in your cut if the cow can't see you.
Part 6
'The Power Cut'. Lindy defines and demonstrates the Power Cut to show the Judges she wants to win!

How I got started: When I first saw cutting I was 13 and wanted to be involved because everything about it appealed to me. When you ride a cutting horse you’re not a dictator, you’re a partner. I’m not telling the horse what to do, the horse is an equal in reading that cow.
