Preview: Lee Francois: Connecting the Dots

Lee Francois helps cutters to fill in the picture when it comes to connecting our training to the cow. Lee stresses that there is no one thing that is more important than the other, because everything has to blend in together as he works the cow. Lee likes to produce a cowy horses because he doesn’t want to have to beg his horses to turn with the cow. He also likes to work his horses a little fresh as it allows him to get some training done and to get discipline.

Part 1
Lee works this 5 year old in a big bridle because it allows him to do less wrestling and more cow related training. He works around the herd but still works straight lines when possible, which is relative to where the cow is.
Part 2
This 4 year old is very sticky to Lee's feet and the cow, so Lee works on trying to move the horse around a little more so he can ride him where ever he wants.
Part 3
Lee explains why he uses tie downs as he works this 4 year old and works straight lines when possible.
