If the efforts, energy and enthusiasm of the National Cutting Horse Association Youth Committee are anything to go by, then the future of cutting is indeed in good hands!
Chairman of the Youth Committee for the NCHA, Matthew Blewitt spoke to Cutting Horse Training Online at the recent annual convention in Grapevine, Tx. He gave a presentation to members to update them on what the youth committee had been working on over the past 12 months.
He said they had been working hard to grow the sport with the younger generation by introducing a new class at shows and trying to make cutting less intimidating for new youth.
Matthew also said he was excited about new changes the NCHA was embarking upon by embracing cutting edge technology that will take the sport well into the 21st century and how it will benefit cutters.
