How can a guy attain what Andy Sutliff has earned with lifetime NCHA earnings of $47,630.00 and USCHA earnings of $17,964.00 while living in an English dominated area with no cows, no walker, just an indoor pen and a flag?
Andy has been training cutting horses for 6 years and he recently took three clients to the 2020 USCHA Finals in Sulphur Springs, TX and came home with three National Championship saddles! It must be grit and talent!
On top of being president of the Pennsylvania Cutting Horse Association, which only has five shows in the area, he drives 5 to 8
hours for all other weekend shows. He is the first one on his turnback horse and the last to get off. He seems to do it all along with his gifted wife, Alise and their two children in Hamburg, PA. On top of all this, Andy is a full-time farrier.
Andy constantly relies on CHTO to increase his training and coaching skill sets. CHTO is his number one learning tool. Andy is an up and coming trainer who gets it done with only dry work, day in and day out. He is kind and polite to his clients and breaks down each element of working and showing a cutting horse without a single cow in sight. Now that takes talent!

My wife and I attended our first cutting show at PCHA last year. New to cutting, coming from a ranch riding and polo background this was new territory for us. Everyone at PCHA was very supportive. Andy graciously helped my wife with coaching both in and out of the pen. Looking forward to this year. Thank you, Alan Topal DVM and Jamie.
