Kate has an extraordinary feel for young horses and recently she won the Jack Brainard Horsemanship award at the 2017 Road To The Horse colt starting competition.
Kate grew up in Northern California riding, roping and starting a variety of horses with father, Bryan Neubert. The experience and knowledge she gained throughout her childhood ultimately led her to a career in the performance horse industry. Kate has worked in the cutting, reining and cowhorse industries, training horses and competing in all three disciplines.
Kate’s passion for developing young performance horses has been crucial to her success. She strives to build a strong foundation in young horses, ultimately seeing the results of her work as the horses progress to competition. Kate also enjoys showing and helping clients progress in and out of the show pen. Some of her achievements include winning the 2012 PCCHA Intermediate Open Futurity and advancing two horses to the semi-finals at the 2014 NCHA Futurity, her first year to show at the prestigious event. Kate is approaching $200,000 in NCHA earnings and has been Morgan Cromer’s assistant trainer for several years in Paso Robles California.
