Even though Tim drew next to last on both of these runs, he focused on making clean cuts and keeping his composure, even though he new he was putting a good run together. Tim talks about keeping your run together and don’t take yourself out of the cutting by chasing cattle if you can’t find your fresh cows.

How I got started: I went to college in Minnesota on a basketball scholarship and got hurt in the first year. I didn’t really want to go to college so I came to California where my brother Mike was training cutting horses. He basically got me started. That was the mid-70s.
