When working cattle, Tarin doesn’t want to take much time to fix something on his 3 year olds (being so close to the Futurity) because it takes their focus off the cow. He emphasizes the fact that, “to get a horse to take responsibility you have to give them responsibility.” These videos are a great demonstration of how Tarin prepares his 3 year olds for the Futurity which is only a few weeks away and how he relates everything to the cow.
