Preview: Aquatred at Tin Top Rd Stallion Station
Have you ever waded through waist-deep water for 20 minutes? Quite a workout isn’t it? If you did that consistently for a month, imagine the muscle you’d build, the conditioning you’d get and the strength you’d develop… Well the same is not only true for horses, it’s also achievable with an Aquatred: a combination of a treadmill, a whirlpool and a swimming pool for horses. With very little stress or trauma that exercising on the ground can cause, the Aquatred is used for all types of therapeutic healing as well as helping to fill out a horse’s shape and in turn improve it’s performance. Kendall Kern, manager of Tin Top Stallion Station and Rehabilitation, shows us how the Aquatred works, the benefits of using it and the results she’s achieved, like improving the breeding vigor of studs.
