It seems there’s no stopping this horse! Junie wood clinched her fourth major consecutive win this year in as many months when she won the 2015 NCHA Super Stakes Classic title in Fort Worth. The mare and her trainer John Mitchell marked a 226 winning $37,495 in prize money.
Junie Wood, owned by Slate River Ranch, was named 2014 Horse of The Year and was the reigning Super Stakes Champion.
Proud of his horse’s achievements in the famous Will Rogers coliseum, John says Junie Wood has placed either first or second every time she has competed there.
