Casey grew up in Southern Indiana on his family ranch learning the fundamentals of horsemanship with his father Jim who was a trainer and learning about the cattle industry as they also operated a pre-conditioning yard. He showed his first cutting horse at he age of four and went on to win the World in the Youth in 1998. In 1999 he moved to Keith Deville’s place in Louisiana learning more about the art of showing horses. Whilst in Louisiana, he spent a lot of time showing with Pat Earnhardt where he learnt a lot about feeling cattle within the herd and to this day he still watches videos of Mr Pat in the herd to help remind him of his brilliance. Casey then moved to Texas loping and training two year olds under Tim Mcloud for a year. From there Casey move to Eddie Flynns and thats where he learnt  how to get a horse broke in the bridle and to your feet for four and a half years. Casey and his wife Codie with their daughter Preslie now own and operate their very successful training facility out of Perrin Texas.
