Elated with her first world title, Erin Bimat praised her horse and husband trainer Todd Bimat for helping her secure the win in the $5,000 Novice Non Pro at the 2016 NCHA World Finals.
Erin rode CT Desireable to end the year on more than $25,000 in earnings. She tied for second in the average, scoring 222 and 208 in both go rounds.
Erin told CHTO’s Simone Cobb she may haul again next year depending on how their horses shape up.
Ed Wold placed second on Simply Bird with more than $25,000 in winnings, while Gilda Jackson and Scoots Lead Free were third.
