Preview: Craig Thompson: Keeping it Simple with Three Year Olds
In this 3-part series, Craig Thompson works three different 3 year olds on cattle. Craig also gives an excellent description of what he’s looking for when he cuts a cow. He approaches the cow gently but purposefully, and as a result sets his horses up for a more successful work. You will get just as much out of the way Craig works the herd as you will the way he works his horses. He likes to keep it simple and uses the phrase “seat, feet” ( in Part III ) repeatedly to drive home what he is using and when he is using it to train the horse.
