From the very beginning Cara has had a passion for horses. Cara’s willingness and drive for success knows no limit. Cara has lifetime earnings in excess of $1,667,741.15 and has been inducted into the NCHA Open Hall of Fame. Cara is a true icon for the sport of cutting.
Cara specializes in training, lessons and sales for all levels of horses and caters to all types of Amateurs and Non Pros.
Her career kickstarted as a professional horse trainer by winning the NCHA Super Stakes aboard Playin Tag (Playgun x Peppys Rey Jay) in 2004.
Playin Tag has been quite the asset to Cara’s team as she has produced the great mare, Dual Rey Tag by Dual Rey. Dual Rey Tag has produced over 550,000 in her first few foals. Dual Rey Tag is the mother to Taggline, Poundsign, and Hashtags. These three stallions are all by Metallic Cat and have come from Cara and Jim Haworth’s breeding program at the Willow Springs Ranch.
Cara and her husband, Scott Brewer, own and operate a training facility along with a ranching operation that is located in Jay, Oklahoma. They have their son named Brand, that is the center of their world.
