In this three part series, Todd Graham demonstrates the exercises he does as soon as he gets on them. He also shows how to keep things slowed down, giving the horse a chance to absorb what it is learning.

Part 1
In this video Todd demonstrates the exercises he does as soon as he gets on a horse to get them soft in the body and broke to his feet. He works re-run cattle and therefore he concentrates on teaching the horse about where their position on a cow should be to control it.
Part 2
Todd works two horses in this video. The first horse is pretty cowy and quick footed and he wants to help her understand how to read the cow by waiting whilst making sure he is not lying to her for wanting to turn! The second horse, Todd talks about the importance of allowing a horse to absorb what you're trying to teach them, by letting them sit around a little more at times.
Part 3
Todd talks about how he likes to create a pocket for the cow to stop and turn in towards in! He also explains where that spot is on a cow to control it.
