Michael works a few three year olds on the flag and talks about how he likes to walk circles, get them soft and roll them over their hocks at a walk before they go to work. These three videos are a good demonstration of being consistent when working your horses from to day to day.

Part 1

Michael works this 3 year old in a correctional bit as he is transitioning from the snaffle at this time of the year, (April). He talks about wanting his horses to be on defense as soon as he walks straight up to the flag.

Part 2

This 3 year old is a little sensitive and hot, which is why he doesn't like to do to much dry work on him, because he becomes agitated. He works the flag slowly and concentrates on holding the horse up into the flag a little as he likes to get too flat.

Part 3

Michael works a greener 3 year old and shows us how he likes to clean up a horse's front end to make sure he gets all the way across through the turn.
